Computational Modelling Of Factors Internal To Aircraft

This work package investigates detailed computational models of engine dynamics, aircraft landing gear and airframe aerodynamics and the related uncertainties. Based on these models, speed profile generation algorithms are proposed in order to obtain smooth speed profiles for taxiing aircraft minimising objectives such as taxi time, fuel consumption and emissions.
